Shoreline Squares is a LGBTQ square dance club located in Long Beach, California. All are welcome. Our club is a proud member of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs and the Associated Square Dancers. Square dancing is the most traditional American folk dance. Square dancing has been a social activity in the LGBTQ Long Beach community for a long time. We have brought a new level of excitement and energy to the dance floor. Square dancing is a great way to get away from the pressures of the day, get a little exercise, and just relax and unwind. We dance to a wide variety of music, from country to soul to disco to show tunes to traditional folk. | Our beginners’ class in partnership with the City of Bellflower will be continuing in our next series of 6 classes on Thursday night (June 13 to July 25, Dark July 4) 6 to 8pm.
